At about 4:10 a.m. on August 13, at the Quang Trung - Le Loi - Le Thanh Ton intersection, Cam Thanh ward, Quang Ngai province, a serious traffic accident occurred between a truck and a motorbike.
According to initial information provided by the authorities, the truck with license plate 76C-048.1x driven by driver N.T.S (47 years old), in Dien Chanh village (Nghia Giang commune), was traveling on Le Thanh Ton street in the east-west direction at the intersection.
At this time, the car collided with a motorbike with license plate 76AD-024.2x driven by Ms. H.T.X (56 years old) and Ms. N.T.H (54 years old), both in Ve Giang commune, traveling on Quang Trung street in the south-northeast direction at the intersection. It is known that at that time, the two women were buying pigs to raise at home.
The accident caused Ms. X. to die on the spot, while Ms. H. was seriously injured and taken to the emergency room. After the incident, driver S. went to report to Cam Thanh Ward Police.
The case is currently being handled and investigated by the Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police according to its authority.
