At about 9:45 am on July 18, on Le Van Luong street (Hanoi), a serious traffic accident occurred between a bus and a motorbike, killing one person on the spot.
According to initial information, the bus was traveling on Le Van Luong street in the direction of the city center. When moving through the area about 100m from Hoang Minh Giam intersection, this vehicle collided with a motorbike driven by a person.
Notably, the location of the accident was on the lane reserved for express buses (BRT). The strong collision caused this person to fall to the road and die on the spot. At the scene, the victim's body and the motorbike were lying on the BRT lane.
Immediately after receiving the news, traffic police and functional units were present to protect the scene, divert traffic and take professional measures.
Functional agencies have organized scene examination, collected information, investigated, and clarified the cause of the accident.
The identity of the victim and the cause of the incident are being further verified and handled by functional agencies according to the provisions of law.
