According to the content of the clips, the cause of the incident originated from a traffic collision when passenger car 63B-013.64 was hit by a truck, breaking the rearview mirror. However, instead of stopping to resolve according to regulations, the truck left the scene. Immediately after that, the passenger car driver accelerated to chase, causing all passengers on the car to fall into a state of panic.
At the time of the incident, a passenger car with license plate 63B-013.64 was moving in the direction from Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho City, former Tien Giang province (now Dong Thap province). When it reached the road section preparing to descend the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway, the truck suddenly collided and fled. From here, the passenger car driver lost his composure and continuously accelerated to chase the vehicle in front, despite the passengers' fear.
