The accident occurred at Km 15+302 National Highway 5, Hai Phong - Hanoi direction, in Dinh Du commune, Van Lam district, Hung Yen province.
In the video clip, the container truck was moving on the road, then slowed down, and slowly turned right. While the container was turning, it collided with a motorbike going in the same direction. After that, the container driver got out of the truck to check the situation.
The collision caused the motorbike to fall onto the road, and the motorcyclist was dragged under the vehicle. One person died on the spot, the other was taken to the emergency room. Upon seeing the scene of the accident, the driver immediately covered his face and burst into tears.
According to locals, the two female students were on their way from Thai Binh to Hanoi after the holiday when the tragic accident happened.
Currently, the cause of the accident is being investigated by the authorities.
