HCMC - A motorbike taxi driver died after slipping into Tan My canal on the afternoon of July 24. The victim's body was found at noon on July 25.

The body of a male motorbike taxi driver who unfortunately slipped into Tan My canal (Tan Thuan ward) on the afternoon of July 24 was found at noon on July 25, after more than a day of searching.

The heartbreaking incident occurred at around 4:00 p.m. on July 24, when the male motorbike taxi driver was traveling on Nguyen Van Linh Street, from Huynh Tan Phat Street to Nguyen Thi Thap. When arriving at the section across Tan My canal, in Tan Thuan ward, the victim stopped the car and stepped down to the edge of the canal to wash his hands.

Suddenly, the driver slipped and fell into the water. Due to the strong water flow, the victim was quickly swept into the sewer.

As soon as the incident was discovered, people nearby shouted and quickly reported it to the authorities.

After many hours of searching, at 1:00 p.m. today (July 25), the victim's body was found. The identity of the technology motorbike taxi driver is being clarified by the authorities.
