On the morning of March 26, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the A Pa Chai Border Guard Station confirmed the above information and said: "Currently, the road to milestone No. 0 cannot be reached because there is construction of a project related to national defense. Therefore, tour activities in the area must be temporarily suspended".
The representative of the Border Guard Station also said that if the fastest time is until the National Day (September 2), the visit to marker No. 0 can continue.
Landmark No. 0 at the border crossing (Vietnam, Laos, China) is located on the top of Khoang La San mountain in A Pa Chai village, Sin Thau commune, Muong Nhe district, Dien Bien province at an altitude of 1864m. The marker is made of granite, surrounded by a hexagonal yard, with a square block at each end of 5m long. The 2m high marker is calculated from the base and has three sides with national emblems of the three countries.
This is an attractive destination, attracting many domestic and foreign tourists, especially those who love to explore and experience.
