    Quang Tri - A giant rock weighing tons fell onto the road connecting Truong Son and Truong Ninh communes after an landslide, functional forces are handling it.

    On September 12, Truong Son Commune People's Committee (Quang Tri province) said that a rock landslide had just occurred on the road connecting Truong Son commune with Truong Ninh commune.

    According to initial information, on the same day, a landslide occurred on the new road connecting Truong Son and Truong Ninh communes. A rock weighing tons fell onto the road, along with a quantity of soil and rocks overflowing into the traffic area.

    After receiving the information, functional forces are inspecting the scene, handling the landslide area and warning people when traveling through this route to ensure safety.

    Truong Son Commune People's Committee said that the above road plays an important role in people's travel, connecting Truong Son commune with communes in the delta area.

    Faced with the situation of soil and rocks sliding down the road, local authorities recommend that people pay attention to observation and comply with the instructions of functional forces when moving through the landslide area.
