On May 15, the Royal Canadian Navy (HMCS) ship Charlottetown docked at Tien Sa port and began a friendly visit to Da Nang city.

This is an important event in Canada's cooperation activities in the Indo-Pacific region and within the framework of the HORIZON campaign.
From May 15 to 18, the group of ship commanding officers will pay a courtesy visit to leaders of the City People's Committee, Military Region 5 Command and Naval Region 3 Command; and participate in professional exchange activities and sports exchanges with officers and soldiers of the Vietnam Navy.
The delegation will also exchange at the University of Economics - Da Nang University, visit the Center for Supporting Victims of Agent Orange and Unfortunate Poor Children of Da Nang City, and cultural and tourism activities in the locality.

The visit of the Canadian Navy ship to Da Nang city contributes to strengthening friendly and mutual trust relations, in line with the policy of promoting the Vietnam - Canada Comprehensive Partnership.
