Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision to classify 96 commune-level administrative units in the area after completing the arrangement of administrative units, including 14 wards and 82 communes, as a basis for state management, organizational structure and resource allocation in the new period.
According to the decision of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, after implementing the arrangement of administrative units, the whole province has 96 commune-level administrative units, including 14 wards and 82 communes.
Among these, there are 37 administrative units classified as type I, including 11 wards and 26 communes; 55 type II administrative units, including 3 wards and 52 communes; 4 type III administrative units, all communes.
Group I administrative units include Long An, Tan An, Tan Ninh, Binh Minh, Ninh Thanh, Long Hoa, Thanh Dien, Trang Bang, An Tinh, Go Dau and Gia Loc wards.
For communes, localities classified as type I include Duong Minh Chau, Tan Thanh, Tan Hoa, Chau Thanh, Ben Cau, Khanh Hung, My Quy, Dong Thanh, My Yen, Can Duoc, Phuoc Ly, Tan Phu, Tan Bien, Binh Hiep, Hau Nghia, My Hanh, Duc Hoa, Ben Luc, Can Giuoc, Tan Tap, Thanh Duc, Tan Dong, Tan Lap, Thanh Binh, Phuoc Vinh and Ninh Dien.
The whole province has 55 type II administrative units, including 3 wards including Khanh Hau, Kien Tuong and Hoa Thanh; along with 52 communes in border, rural and urban areas.
Four administrative units classified as III include Long Huu, My An, An Luc Long and Vinh Cong communes.
According to Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, the classification of commune-level administrative units is of great significance in state management, is the basis for organizing the apparatus, arranging the contingent of cadres and civil servants; and at the same time, serves the development of policies, allocation of resources and determination of regimes and standards according to current regulations.
