Rare pangolin crawls across the road in Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City - A rare pangolin crawling across the road, people protect it and hand it over to Phu Giao Commune Police to release it back to its natural environment.

On the evening of January 20, Phu Giao Commune Police, Ho Chi Minh City said that they had received a rare pangolin individual handed over by people.

According to Phu Giao Commune Police, the incident of people discovering rare pangolins occurred at about 7:30 pm on the same day on DH505 route, in front of the Phu An social housing urban project.

At the above time, Mr. Le The Hieu was on his way home when he discovered a pangolin crawling across the road. Mr. Hieu promptly protected this pangolin and brought it to Phu Giao Commune Police to hand over according to regulations.

Currently, Phu Giao Commune Police have received the pangolin and coordinated with units to handle it and release it back to the natural environment according to regulations.

Phu Giao Commune Police said that pangolins are rare and precious wild animals, increasingly threatened. Protecting this animal species is the responsibility of the entire community.

Phu Giao Commune Police praised Mr. Le The Hieu for his sense of responsibility, animal-loving actions and respect for the law.
