On the morning of January 2, Mr. Thai Canh Toan - Deputy Director of Vu Quang National Park (Ha Tinh province) said that this unit has just released 90 wild animals of 14 species into the natural environment in the forest area managed by Vu Quang National Park.
Including: 4 golden monkeys, 5 mottled monkeys, 2 red-faced monkeys, 1 pig-tailed monkey, 10 Chinese cobras, 6 king cobras, 4 mountain tortoises, 2 northern yellow-fronted box turtles, 10 cardamom tortoises, 2 Speng le-ri tortoises, 2 pythons, 8 G-lancehead snakes, 30 rat snakes, 4 ri-vo geckos.

These wild animals belong to group IB (in the Red Book of Vietnam and the world) and group IIB (specified in the list of endangered, precious, and rare forest animals).


The above number of wild animals were handed over by Hoang Lien Tourism and Wildlife Conservation Center - Hoang Lien National Park (Lao Cai province) as part of a cooperation program, coordinating rescue and release of wild animals.
The division and separation of the herd into different areas aims to create efficiency in conservation work.
