The Party Committee of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee has just reported to the Steering Committee for the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province about the results and progress of the implementation of the "Project to support poor households and near-poor households to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" and the "Project to support housing for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs in the province".
Accordingly, as of March 13, the Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh province received through the "For the Poor" Fund a total of VND 31.128 billion; has provided support funds to 353/358 poor and near-poor households approved in the first phase and has completed construction.
Currently, 183 households have completed the construction of houses but have not received funding support (of which 69 households have built new houses and 114 households have repaired).
The whole Thai Binh province has started construction and repair of 1,088 houses for poor and near-poor households; of which, 536 houses have been completed, the remaining houses have started construction and are under construction and repair.
The expected number of households no longer in need of construction is 590 households (246 newly built households, 344 repaired households). The number of households expected to start construction and repair in March 2025 is 428 households with an estimated funding need of 93.6 billion VND.
In addition, in Thai Binh province, there are 866 households with meritorious services to the revolution and relatives of martyrs who need to build new and repair their houses. The total estimated support budget is over 65 billion VND from the central and local budgets.
To date, the whole province has started construction and repair of 419 houses, of which 92 have been completed. Except for households that no longer have a need, in March 2025, construction will start and repairs will be made to the remaining 311 households.
