On August 29, the Criminal Enforcement Agency of Hue City Police held a meeting of the Council for Appraisal of Documents proposing to reduce the prison sentence for prisoners, on the occasion of National Day, September 2.
At the conference, members discussed, based on legal regulations and instructions from competent authorities on reducing sentences. At the same time, the Council has carefully reviewed and reviewed the records of prisoners serving sentences at the Hue City Police Detention Center to propose a list of conditions for sentencing.
After the appraisal, the Council unanimously proposed that the People's Court and the People's Procuracy of Hue City consider reducing the prison sentence for 7 prisoners, including:
Proposal to reduce the remaining term for 3 prisoners; Reduced 7 months for 1 prisoner; Reduced 5 months for 1 prisoner; Reduced 4 months for 1 prisoner; Reduced 3 months for 1 prisoner.
The prisoners on the list are all assessed to have a good awareness of reformation, strictly comply with prison regulations, actively study, work and achieve the reform classification according to regulations.
