Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi has just signed a decision to establish the Provincial Steering Committee for Waste Prevention.
Accordingly, the Head of the Steering Committee is the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. The Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, the Director of the Department of Finance and the Chief Inspector of the province act as Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee.
The members of the Steering Committee include the Director of the Provincial Police, the Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office, 14 Department Directors, the Director of the State Bank of Vietnam's provincial branch, the Commander of the Provincial Military Command, the Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee, and the Chairmen of the People's Committees of Gia Nghia districts and city.
The Steering Committee is responsible for assisting the Provincial People's Committee in researching, directing, and coordinating the resolution of important inter-sectoral tasks related to waste prevention and control in the area.
At the same time, the Steering Committee helps the Provincial People's Committee propose directions, tasks, and solutions to solve inter-sectoral issues related to waste prevention and control in the area.
The Department of Finance is the standing body of the Steering Committee, responsible for developing and advising the Head of the Steering Committee to promulgate working regulations and assign specific tasks to members.
