The Management Board of Chu Lai Open Economic Zone of Da Nang City is organized on the basis of rearranging the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of Quang Nam Province, to suit the new administrative unit model after the merger.
According to the Decision, the Management Board of Chu Lai Open Economic Zone of Da Nang City is an administrative agency under the People's Committee of the city, implementing direct state management of economic zones in the area. The Management Board also organizes the provision of public administrative services and support services related to investment, production and business activities of enterprises according to regulations.
The Management Board has legal status, its own account and the National Guard's seal. Operating expenses include administrative management expenses, career expenses and development investment capital allocated by the state budget according to the annual plan, along with other legal sources.
The Management Board is assigned to perform tasks and powers according to the provisions of law. The head of the board is responsible for submitting to the City People's Committee to issue specific regulations on functions, tasks and organizational structure. This Decision also abolishes Decision No. 1229/QD-TTg on the organization of the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of Quang Nam province.
Previously, Chu Lai Open Economic Zone was established to promote regional economic development and was assigned to the Management Board under the People's Committee of Quang Nam province to carry out centralized and unified management. The Management Board at that time will have legal status, seals and a working apparatus according to the model of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board.
The establishment of the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone Management Board of Da Nang City marks an important adjustment in managing the economic zone after the process of merging administrative units. The new agency hopes to ensure connectivity and unity in direction and operation; at the same time, create conditions for investment and production activities in the economic zone to take place effectively, stably and in accordance with the city's development orientation.
