Gia Lai discovered 2 more deaths in the historic flood, with Quy Nhon Dong ward alone recording 5 deaths.

On the night of November 21, speaking with Lao Dong, the leader of the People's Committee of Quy Nhon Dong Ward (Gia Lai Province) - confirmed that he had just discovered 2 bodies of people in a locked room on Dao Tan Street.

"The neighbors saw the rented room locked for 2 days and could not go out, so they opened it to check and discovered that the two old men had died. Currently, the authorities are investigating the cause of the incident," informed the leader of Quy Nhon Dong Ward People's Committee.

According to Lao Dong, the rented room was discovered to have 2 victims dead and flooded, with a water level of about 0.8m. To date, Quy Nhon Dong ward has recorded 5 deaths; Quy Nhon Bac ward has recorded 1 death due to floods; Quy Nhon ward has recorded 1 death due to landslides.

As Lao Dong reported on November 19, the People's Committee of Quy Nhon Dong Ward recorded 2 cases of death due to flood, the unfortunate victims were Mr. H.M.H (in Quarter 2) and Mr. B.V.H (in Quarter6).

Mr. H.M.H is paralyzed and cannot walk in one place. On November 19, when it was raining heavily, floodwaters rose and flooded into his house, Mr. H fell to bed and drowned. The case of Mr. B.V.H dying in floodwater of unknown cause.
