Implementing the direction of Hai Phong city on speeding up site clearance for the Vu Cong Dan road renovation and expansion project, the People's Committee of Tu Minh ward has just held a meeting to review the records of cases subject to enforcement.
At the meeting, leaders of the People's Committee and the Ward Land Acquisition Council, along with departments and professional offices of the ward and city, carefully compared and inspected each dossier, ensuring the order according to legal regulations, objectivity and transparency.
Key contents focused on include: determining land origin, boundaries, and site clearance markers; counting, compensation, and resettlement support; notification, mobilization, and dialogue with households that have not complied.
According to the Chairman of Tu Minh Ward People's Committee, the work of enforcing land recovery is the last resort, only implemented when all steps of propaganda, mobilization, and dialogue have been completed, but households still deliberately do not comply. The review of documents must be strict and in accordance with the law, in order to both protect the legitimate rights of the people and meet the project's progress requirements.
The meeting also agreed on the time and plan for enforcement in the coming time, and assigned specific tasks to each member of the Council for coordination in implementation.
Previously, Hai Phong City Police had a working session at the ward, directly interested, urged and reminded about the project implementation progress, requesting relevant units to closely coordinate and resolutely handle cases of intentional delay and non-compliance with site handover.
The Vu Cong Dan road renovation and expansion project is a key transport infrastructure project, which is important for the development of Tu Minh ward and neighboring areas. When completed, the project will contribute to expanding urban space, conveniently connecting with important routes, reducing traffic congestion, promoting trade - service development, and improving people's lives.
Most households subject to site clearance have expressed their agreement with the general policy, ready to comply, and hand over the site on time so that the project can be completed soon.
On the afternoon of October 1, another household in the project agreed to receive compensation and support and hand over the site to serve the construction of the Vu Cong Dan road expansion project.
The Ward Land Clearance Council will continue to promote propaganda, dialogue, and mobilization of the remaining households to soon approve and join hands for the common good, ensuring the project is completed according to plan.
