At about 1:45 p.m. on September 29, on the route from Tubin port (Quynh Khe village, Phu Thai commune, Hai Phong city) through the area of UBI Tower Company, a particularly serious accident occurred, causing one person to die on the spot.
According to initial information, the container truck driven by a driver was moving from the port and collided with many other vehicles during the trip. The car then crashed straight into the electric pole in front of a house on the side of the road, causing the electric pole and rope to fall to the ground.
After the strong collision, the driver opened the door and got out of the car but was unfortunately electrocuted and died on the spot. Witness at the scene said that before crashing into the electric pole, the car collided with 2-3 vehicles but did not cause any casualties to the people involved.

The victim was identified as a male driver born in 1986, residing in Hamlet 5, Thien Dap Village (Phu Thai Commune, Hai Phong City). Some sources say that this person may have consumed alcohol before driving, leading to not being able to control the driver.
Immediately after the incident, the authorities were present at the scene to protect the area, handle electrical incidents, divert traffic and investigate the cause.
The incident is being further clarified by the authorities.
