Mobilizing all efforts, construction through 3 shifts
On July 17, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Viet Hung - Deputy Head of Inspection Team No. 1 according to the Prime Minister's Decision - directly inspected the construction site of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway project, and listened to the progress report, existing problems and project completion plan.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Viet Hung emphasized: "There is not much time left, every section that is qualified must focus on human and material resources to construct immediately, not to let it be delayed. The main route of the project must be completed before August 19".
The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway project has a total length of about 11.5km, passing through three communes and wards of Da Nang City, including 6 lanes in the completed phase and 4 lanes in the phased phase. The total investment is more than VND 2,112 billion, of which the cost of compensation and site clearance (GPMB) alone accounts for nearly half - more than VND 951 billion.

According to the report of the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board (project investor), the construction progress has reached more than 502 billion VND, equivalent to 58.44%. At the construction site, 20 construction teams are operating 3 shifts continuously every day, focusing on the items of crushed stone aggregate, asphalt concrete pavement, traffic infrastructure, underpass for people, service road...
Breaking the ground, not letting the project delay progress
Although contractors are speeding up the progress, site clearance is still a difficult bottleneck. Currently, there are about 100m of the route that cannot be constructed due to 9 residential land records at the section connecting DH2 road. This is an area that must be completed before the route is put into operation to ensure traffic safety.
In Ba Na commune, people reported the situation of vibrations causing cracks in houses, leading to construction obstruction of a section about 500m long from Km76+241 to Km76+735. Relevant parties have coordinated to pay third- installment support insurance, but the situation still needs more drastic intervention from local authorities.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Viet Hung assigned the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board to work with the People's Committee of Da Nang City to hand over the entire site before July 20.; mobilize and completely resolve the problem of people obstructing in Ba Na commune before July 18.
At the same time, the city is also requested to direct the Infrastructure Investment Project Management Board to promptly complete procedures for the next 2 resettlement areas, ensuring the correct disbursement of allocated capital.
According to Mr. Le Thanh Binh - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board - if the weather is favorable, contractors can complete the entire main road surface on August 15 and be ready for technical traffic on August 19 as planned.
Previously, Da Nang City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quang also directly inspected the project many times, directing and urging the progress. The Quang Secretary affirmed that this is a project of strategic significance not only for Da Nang but also for the Central - Central Highlands region, creating infrastructure linkages and momentum for regional economic development.
