Mr. T's body was discovered drifting near Hang Trong, about 10km from the location of the Vinh Xanh 58 ship, license plate QN 7105.
Immediately after receiving the information, the authorities promptly dispatched specialized vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene to bring the victim's body to shore.
The results of this morning's DNA test (July 27) confirmed that the male body discovered and salvaged in Ha Long Bay on the afternoon of July 26 was T (born in 1985, from Hanoi) - also the body of the last victim found in Ha Long Bay in the capsize of the Green Bay 58 tourist boat, license plate QN-7105 on the afternoon of July 19.
This victim is the father of Hoang Nhat Minh (10 years old) - the lucky person who survived the train capsize.
It is known that Mr. T was the one who, at the moment of life and death, tried to take the life jacket, leave it to his child and push it to another room.
Although the room was flooded, it was not filled, helping Hoang Nhat Minh survive miraculously for about 3 hours before being found by the rescue team. In this train capsize, Hoang Nhat Minh lost his father, mother and younger sister.
Hoang Nhat Minh is currently sponsored by Quang Ninh Provincial Police until he is an adult.
Recently, Major General Tran Van Phuc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police - and representatives of the leaders of a number of professional departments of the Provincial Police visited, encouraged and provided support to Hoang Nhat Minh who is being treated and cared for at the National Children's Hospital (Hanoi).
Along with sponsorship until adulthood, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Quang Ninh Provincial Police, Major General Tran Van Phuc presented Hoang Nhat Minh with 200 million VND in support.
