To ensure security, safety and smooth traffic, serving the National Funeral Ceremony of Comrade Tran Duc Luong - Former Politburo member, former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Hanoi City Police announce traffic diversion and organize directions for vehicles subject to temporary ban and restrictions as follows:
Routes under temporary ban
From 06:00 on May 24, 2025 to 08:30 on May 25, 2025, vehicles (except vehicles with protection badges, vehicles serving the National Day) on the following routes are completely banned:
Tang Bat Ho, Pham Dinh Ho, Nguyen Cong Tru (from Tran Thanh Tong to Lo Duc), Yec xanh, Tran Thanh Tong, Nguyen Huy Tu, Le Quy Don (from Nguyen Cao to Yec xanh), Nguyen Cao (from Lo Duc to Le Quy Don), Han Thuyen, Hang Chuoi (from Han Thuyen to Nguyen Cong Tru).
Routes in limited areas
From 06:00 on May 24, 2025 to 09:00 on May 25, 2025, limit cargo vehicles with a cargo weight of 500kg or more, passenger cars with 25 seats or more (except for buses, garbage trucks, incident handling vehicles, vehicles with protection badges, vehicles serving the National Day celebration) on some routes:
Ly Thuong Kiet, Tran Hung Dao, Hai Ba Trung, Le Thanh Tong, Lo Duc, Nguyen Cong Tru (from Lo Duc to Pho Hue), Tran Khanh Du, Nguyen Khoi dike, dike 401, Ngo Thi Nham, Le Thanh Tong.
From 06:30 to 10:30 on May 25, 2025, limit and temporarily ban all types of vehicles from circulating on Le Thanh Tong route, August Revolution Square area, Trang Tien, Hang Khay, Trang Thi, Dien Bien Phu (from Nam's 4th intersection to Nguyen Tri Phuong - Dien Bien Phu), Tran Phu, Kim Ma, Van Bao, Van Phuc, Lieu Giai (from Lieu Giai - Phan Ke Binh to Lieu Giai - Nguyen Chi Thanh), Dao Tan, Buoi, Ring Road II, Vo Chi Cong, Nhat Tan bridge, Vo Nguyen Giap, around Noi Bai International Airport Complex, Vo Van Gioi (from Vo Van - Quoc Kiet 2 - Vo Giet 2 - Vo Giet).
For other routes and vehicles comply with regulations on the operation of vehicles in Hanoi city.
To ensure security, order and safety, traffic safety for the National Funeral Ceremony, Hanoi Police require vehicle owners and vehicle operators when participating in traffic to voluntarily comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and instructions, regulation and traffic flow by the authorities.
Requesting agencies, organizations and people of localities to attend the Visitation and memorial service for comrade Tran Duc Luong - Former Politburo member and former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, traveling by personal vehicle to park cars and motorbikes at parking lot exploitation locations on Ly Thuong Kiet, Hai Ba Trung, Tran Quang Khai, Tran Khanh Du streets and parking lots outside the restricted and temporarily banned areas.
During the National Day Ceremony, Hanoi City Police announced traffic diversion and organized directions for vehicles in restricted and temporarily banned areas participating in traffic along the route as follows:
Vehicles under restrictions and temporary ban from National Highway 5 to the southern provinces will pass through Thanh Tri Bridge, the elevated Ring Road 3, the Hanoi Expressway, Ninh Binh to the provinces; vehicles from National Highway 5 to the northern provinces will pass through Dong Tru Bridge, along National Highway 2, National Highway 3 or the Hanoi Expressway, Thai Nguyen to the provinces and vice versa.
From 06:30 to 10:30 on May 25, 2025, vehicles from the southern provinces to the northern provinces to Phap Van, the elevated Ring Road 3, move through Thang Long Bridge, Thanh Tri Bridge to the provinces and vice versa.
Vehicles need to proactively adjust their routes, limit their entry into Vo Chi Cong Street, Nhat Tan Bridge, Vo Nguyen Giap, and Noi Bai International Airport Complex.
Hanoi Police also requested public transport management units to adjust the route of bus routes and traffic participants to limit activities on the route according to the announcement content.
