The investment project to build the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway passing through Hung Yen province is about 33.3km long, designed with a scale of 4 complete lanes, a roadbed width of 24.75m, and a design speed of 120km/hour. The project starts in Nghia Hung commune, Ninh Binh province and ends in Thai Thuy commune, Hung Yen province.
According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, on the construction site, the construction atmosphere of the CT.08 expressway, the section passing through Hung Yen province, is taking place urgently day and night. Currently, the items being deployed are mainly main bridges on the route.


According to the Management Board of Construction Investment Project No. 2 of Hung Yen province, to date, the land clearance of agricultural land in Hung Yen and Ninh Binh provinces has basically completed corresponding to 92% of the total area to be recovered and handed over, about 53.96km/60.9km.
On the construction site of the CT.08 expressway project, construction teams are concentrated in key items such as the Hong River overpass, Ninh Co bridge and Tra Ly bridge. Many sections of the route have been completed with organic peeling, geotechnical fabric spreading, and sand loading on the roadbed.



In addition, to ensure progress, the contractor mobilized nearly 100 engineers, workers and more than 50 equipment, organizing continuous construction in 3 shifts, 4 teams. The construction unit has proactively mobilized maximum manpower and material resources; and at the same time, soon connect materials supply sources, proposing the Provincial People's Committee to coordinate with neighboring localities to have a special mechanism for material mine exploitation.
The Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway is a strategic traffic axis, connecting the northern coastal provinces with the North - South expressway. After completion, the road will contribute to completing regional connectivity, promoting socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, improving competitiveness, attracting investment, creating strong development momentum for Hung Yen province and the entire Red River Delta region.
