Mr. Nguyen Van Thang's family (49 years old, Chu Phan commune, Me Linh, Hanoi) has 500m2 of land subject to recovery to serve the construction of the Ring Road 4 project in the Capital Region.
After the policy of giving up land for the Ring Road 4 project, Mr. Thang's family agreed to immediately hand over the land for the State to implement the project, then receive the land and build a new house in the resettlement area.
The two plots of land with an area of 249 square meters that Mr. Thang's family received at the resettlement area of Tan Chau village (Chu Phan commune) are spacious, airy and beautiful, only about 200 meters from Me Linh road (road 100).
After 6 months of construction, the 2-storey house project with a budget of 1.4 billion VND has basically completed the rough construction. It is expected that in December, Mr. Thang's family will move to the new house and hand over the old residence to the project.
"The new place is more spacious and has more amenities than the old place, so we are all excited and feel secure in settling down," said Mr. Thang.
Having 300 square meters of residential land revoked and moved to a resettlement area, Mr. Nguyen Van Tam (50 years old, Tan Chau village, Chu Phan) was granted 180 square meters of resettlement land in Tan Chau by the People's Committee of Me Linh district.
Mr. Tam's family was also one of the first households in Tan Chau village to pioneer in receiving land and building houses in the resettlement area.
Pointing to the two-story house just completed after half a year of construction, Mr. Tam said he was very excited, hoping that life would have many changes in the new settlement.
The resettlement area of Tan Chau village, Chu Phan commune is located next to the location where the intersection of Ring Road 4 and Me Linh Road will be built.
Here, a series of high-rise buildings have been and are being built in modern architecture, growing close together. Infrastructure in the resettlement area such as parks, roads, lighting systems, and trees are also in the process of completion.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Chu Phan Commune (Me Linh) - said that there are 158 households in the commune whose residential land must be recovered to implement the Ring Road 4 project, of which 133 households are eligible for resettlement.
To date, the local government has granted land to 112 households to build houses in the resettlement area, of which 8 households have moved into new housing.
"The resettlement area is located in a beautiful location, convenient for transportation, near schools and administrative centers. The infrastructure of the resettlement area is built synchronously like mini urban areas with full amenities, meeting the basic needs of the people" - Mr. Truong said.
The Beltway 4 project, section passing through Me Linh district (Hanoi), is about 11.2km long, with a total land area to be cleared of up to 141.5 hectares, passing through 5 communes (13 villages) including: Thanh Lam, Kim Hoa, Dai Thinh, Chu Phan and Van Khe.
Of which, the residential land area accounts for 6.96 hectares, related to 438 households in 3 villages: Noi Dong (Dai Thinh commune), Tan Chau (Chu Phan commune) and Khe Ngoai 2 (Van Khe commune).
To carry out the work of clearing residential land for households, the People's Committee of Me Linh district has invested in building 3 resettlement areas with a total area of nearly 15 hectares.
Of which, the resettlement area in Khe Ngoai 2 village, Van Khe commune has a scale of 7.74 hectares; the resettlement area in Noi Dong village, Dai Thinh commune has a scale of 2.38 hectares and the resettlement area in Tan Chau village, Chu Phan commune has a scale of 4.69 hectares.
