On December 4, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that it had issued a document urging Ninh Hoa Town People's Committee to speed up site clearance for two key expressway projects.
According to the assessment, Ninh Hoa town has made many efforts in site clearance for the Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway Component Project of the North - South Expressway Construction Project, Eastern Phase 2021 - 2025 and Component Project 1 of Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway (Phase 1).
For the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway project, some tasks have been 100% completed. These include site clearance, relocation and handover of essential infrastructure to the construction unit; relocation and handover of the 110kV power system; relocation and handover of 18/19 locations of the 220kV power system.
Ninh Hoa town is urgently implementing procedures and processes for site clearance for adjustment and addition locations; Rest stop and 1 main pillar foundation location of the 220kV line.
For the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway (phase 1), Ninh Hoa town has approved 846/1,032 land acquisition plans and decided to acquire land, and only paid costs for 801/846 plans.
Urgently completing 82 cases not subject to resettlement to approve the plan in November 2024; reviewing and organizing the drawing of lots for 104 resettlement cases and allocating residential land at the resettlement site, conducting parallel appraisal of compensation plans to approve in December 2024; completing site clearance work to implement Ha Thanh Resettlement Area and relocating 110kV, 220kV power infrastructure...
According to the report of the interdisciplinary team of Khanh Hoa province, in Ninh Hoa there are no more problems in site clearance for projects. However, the working group found that site clearance for these two projects is still slow, and it is necessary to urgently complete the specific workload.
Accordingly, the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway project has not completed the procedures to issue a decision to reclaim land for adjusted and supplemented locations, rest stops and a 220kV power pole foundation location in Ninh Son commune...
For the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project (Phase 1), the work of preparing compensation plans is still slow. From August 1, 2024 to now, no new plans have been approved.
Currently, the number of remaining compensation plans is relatively large, the implementation timeline is close to 2025, leading to difficulty in completing this work in 2024. There are 45 cases where plans have been approved but money has not been paid; the site clearance work in Ha Thanh Resettlement Area has not been completed; the procedures for land acquisition at the foundation locations of 110kV and 220kV power poles have not been fully carried out...
