By the afternoon of June 13, Lao Dong Newspaper's reporter noted that in Dong Hoi City, the rain had stopped, and some places in Le Thuy district had begun to recede.
From June 11 to 13, due to the influence of storm No. 1, Quang Binh province will have very heavy rain, many places will record over 500mm of rain such as An Ma Lake (508.4mm), Song Thai Lake (501mm), Thai Thuy Commune (499.2mm). Prolonged heavy rain caused flooding, landslides and serious damage.

According to the report of Vinasarcom province, as of 4:00 p.m. on June 13, the whole province has recorded 4 missing people, including 2 women in Tan Hoa commune (Minh Hoa) swept away by floodwaters while going to scout frog, and a couple in Nhan Trach commune (Bo Trach) missing while casting a net on Dinh river.
The whole province has 34 flooded and isolated locations, of which many national highways and provincial roads are flooded from 0.5-1m deep such as National Highway 9B, National Highway 15, Provincial Road 562, the road to Con Cung village (Le Thuy), Road 20 Quyet Thang, Phong Nha - Ke Bang area and Tan Hoa commune.


In addition, there were 14 landslides on traffic routes, in which some locations such as Km115+700 of Ho Chi Minh Road West Branch, Km34+260 QL9E, Km122+830 QL12A were completely blocked.
In the agricultural sector, more than 20,800 hectares of rice are flooded, including nearly 13,000 hectares of the Summer-Autumn crop and more than 7,500 hectares of regenerated rice. 417 hectares of crops and more than 1,500 hectares of pond aquatic products were affected, many fish cages and oyster rafts were washed away or damaged. In Quan Hau, 11 fish cages and 5 oyster cages were swept away by floodwaters.
Regarding boats, 3 fishing boats sank, of which 2 were outside the storm-affected area, 1 boat sank right at the Nhat Le River anchorage area due to water flooding into the hold.
Localities have proactively evacuated 23 households with 84 people to safe places. The Provincial Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and Control issued 3 urgent telegrams, directing the whole province to implement the "4 on-site" plan, urgently drain water, operate field pumping stations, warn and support people.
