Specifically, since mid-June 2025, four NPA/RENEW clearing teams have been deployed in Thuy Trung village to remove cluster bombs and other explosives left over from the war.
After nearly 1.5 months of work, the teams have cleared nearly 600,000 m2 of land, discovered and safely destroyed 75 cluster bombs and 76 other explosives.
Currently, the bomb and mine clearing teams are continuing their work until the end of November 2025, with the goal of clearing all of the more than 1.4 million m2 of polluted land in the above locality.
