On the afternoon of March 19, at the Gio Linh District Martyrs' Cemetery (Quang Tri Province), a memorial service and burial ceremony for a martyr's remains took place.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates respectfully offered flowers and incense to pay tribute and commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland for the happiness of the People.
After the memorial service, the remains of the martyrs were buried by local Party committees, authorities and armed forces.

Previously, from local people's newspapers, from March 10 to March 18, the Martyrs' Remains Search and Collection Team 584 under the Political Department of the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command conducted a search and collection of a martyr's remains. The location where the remains of martyrs were discovered was in Vinh Quang Thuong village (Gio Quang commune, Gio Linh district).
The martyrs' remains were collected at a depth of 1m and many accompanying relics such as tanks, hammocks, Ton bowl, bowl, hood...
