On February 20, Tuyen Binh Commune People's Committee (Quang Tri province) said that functional forces had found the body of 1 missing victim in the boat capsizing on the Gianh River.
The body was identified as Mr. N.V.T (born in 1958, residing in Tuyen Binh commune), discovered not far from the scene of the accident, at about 9:30 am on the same day. Currently, the victim's body has been handed over to the family for funeral arrangements.
As Lao Dong Newspaper reported, at about 11:30 am on February 19, Mr. N.V.T's family of 7 people traveling by small boat on the Gianh River encountered an accident.
People brought 5 people ashore, of which 2 did not survive. After Mr. T was found, there is still 1 granddaughter missing. Functional forces continue to urgently deploy search plans on the Gianh River.
