On May 25, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police found the body of an 11-year-old girl in the Cai River, passing through Hiep Hoa Ward (Bien Hoa City).
According to initial information, at around 1:30 p.m. on May 24, baby N.T.K.N. (11 years old, living in Quarter 2, Long Binh Ward) and some friends in the neighborhood bathed in the rain. Suddenly, N. slipped and fell into a stream nearby and was swept away by the water. After receiving the news, the authorities organized a search.
According to N.'s family members, when the incident occurred, when he saw N. and a boy in the same neighbor being swept down the stream, 2 younger sisters of N. hurriedly ran to the inn to help his father. However, when N.'s father arrived, he could only save the boy in the same neighborhood (being entangled in bamboo bushes on the banks of the stream), and N. was unfortunately swept away by water.
N. is the eldest daughter in a family of three children. Currently, N.'s family is renting a house in Quarter 2, Long Binh Ward, Bien Hoa City.
