On March 24, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police confirmed that it had just discovered the body of N.T.V (born in 2013, residing in Ho Xa town, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province) on Thach Han river.
Previously, on the morning of March 23, people discovered a pair of sandals and an electric bicycle on Hien Luong Bridge (Hien Thanh Commune, Vinh Linh District), so they reported it to the authorities.
After that, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Vinh Linh area coordinated with local people to conduct the search.
With the support of local people and volunteer search teams, at around 12:35 on March 24, the body of the missing victim was found in the Thach Han River.
The victim's body has been handed over to his family for burial.
