Body of drowned 6th grade male student found

    Ha Tinh - After organizing the search, the authorities found the body of a 6th grade male student drowning in the Lam River.

    On the morning of May 19, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Xuan Hong Commune (Nghi Xuan District) - said that after nearly 2 days of searching, the authorities found the body of N.M.H (12 years old, residing in village 4, Xuan Hong Commune).

    Accordingly, H's body was found at around 11:15 p.m. on May 18 on the Lam River, about 300m from the scene of her drowning.

    Previously, at around 2:30 p.m. on May 17, H (grade 6, Lam Hong Secondary School, Nghi Xuan District) and a group of friends went swimming in the Lam River in Hamlet 1, Xuan Hong Commune, when H unfortunately drowned and went missing.

    After receiving the news, the family, neighbors and local authorities mobilized functional forces to search for the victim.
