On April 10, the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Region 3 (Lam Dong Police) said that they had found the body of Mr. Nguyen Quyet Sang - the victim who went missing while fishing at Ngoc Lake (Ward 2, Bao Loc - former Loc Tan commune area) at noon on April 9.

After many search efforts, the victim's body was discovered at about 9:10 am on the same day, in the area where the drowning occurred.
Functional agencies said that Ngoc Lake has a depth of 5-10m, some locations are more than 20m deep, causing many difficulties for search and rescue work.

From the afternoon of April 9, in addition to the police and military forces of Ward 2 Bao Loc, the Fire and Rescue Police Team also mobilized professional divers from the SOS Bao Loc team to participate in the search.
Currently, the victim's body has been brought ashore, and functional agencies are completing procedures to hand over to the family for funeral arrangements.
As Lao Dong Newspaper has reported: Previously, at noon on April 9, Mr. Nguyen Quyet Sang and a friend went to Ngoc Lake (Ward 2, Bao Loc - former Loc Tan commune area) to fish.
While fishing, seeing the fish stuck to the hook, Mr. Sang swam to the middle of the lake to catch them, but unfortunately drowned and went missing. Because he did not know how to swim, the friend who went with him called to report to the authorities.
Upon receiving the news, functional forces quickly arrived at the scene and deployed search and rescue operations.
