On the morning of December 3, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police said that the unit had just coordinated with local forces to find the body of a victim suspected of jumping off a bridge in the Canh Hom River, passing through Lam Xuan village, Cua Viet commune, Quang Tri province.
The incident occurred at 5:50 a.m., when the authorities received a report of a person suspected of jumping off a bridge into the river. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department dispatched a fire truck, 8 officers and soldiers along with rescue equipment to the scene, coordinating with Cua Viet Commune Police and local authorities to conduct the search.
At the scene, the authorities quickly grasped the situation and organized a diving team to search. At 7:10 a.m., the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police found the victim and handed him over to Cua Viet Commune Police for investigation and examination according to regulations.
The victim was identified as T.V.D (born in 2004, residing in Cua Viet commune). The cause of the incident is being further clarified by Cua Viet Commune Police.
