On the afternoon of June 2, the People's Committee of Phong Nha town (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province) said that the search force had discovered the body of a man who jumped from Xuan Son bridge the night before.
The victim's body was found at around 15, about 50m from the bridge jumping location.
Currently, the authorities have completed the necessary procedures and handed over the body to the family for funeral arrangements.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at more than 10:00 p.m. on June 1, Mr. CP.D (born in 1988, residing in Phong Nha town) jumped into the Son River from Xuan Son bridge.
Upon receiving the news, the local government mobilized many forces to participate in the search, including the town police, the militia and self -defense militia, scanning vehicles, tourist transport boats and canoes of Song Son rescue unit, and suggested that the provincial police rescue forces assisted.
