On the afternoon of December 15, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 3 (Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police) said that the rescue force had found the body of K'Dak, a drowning victim on the afternoon of December 14.
Accordingly, at 1:55 p.m. the same day, the victim's body was discovered in Tadia stream, more than 50m downstream from the accident site.

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on the afternoon of December 14, three teenagers went to Tadia stream (Hoa Ninh commune, Lam Dong) to swim.
While swimming, due to the strong flow of the stream, K'Dak (14 years old, living in Hoa Ninh commune) was swept away by the water and went missing. The remaining two teenagers were lucky to swim to shore and escaped.
The incident was quickly reported to local authorities and authorities. Upon receiving the report, Hoa Ninh Commune Police coordinated with the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 3 to mobilize more than 10 officers and soldiers to organize the search and rescue.
However, because the water of Tadia stream was 3 - 5m deep and flowing rapidly, the initial search encountered many difficulties.
