The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued a document approving the traffic organization plan at the Km3+500 route under the Dong Viet Bridge and approach road construction project.

Accordingly, after reviewing the report and proposal of the Traffic and Agriculture Project Management Board of Bac Ninh province No. 1 in the official dispatch dated July 16 and of the Department of Construction in the official dispatch dated July 21,
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province agreed in principle, allowing the Investor (Bac Ninh Provincial Traffic and Agriculture Project Management Board No. 1) to temporarily organize traffic at Km3+500 under the Dong Viet Bridge Construction Project and the approach road to the bridge according to the plan proposed by the Department of Construction.
The Department of Construction proactively coordinates with competent agencies and the People's Committee of Dong Viet commune to promptly advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on an adjustment plan (if necessary) to ensure safety during the exploitation process.
Dong Viet Commune People's Committee directs villages and schools to regularly organize propaganda to people and students who comply with traffic laws, especially those who travel in the correct routes and lanes according to regulations.
Previously, as Lao Dong reported, in early July, after more than 3 years of implementation, Dong Viet Bridge was completed and opened to traffic on the entire route.
The Dong Viet bridge project and the approach road to the bridge have a total bridge length of more than 811 m, the bridge surface is 23.5 m wide.
The approach roads to the bridge on both sides are built according to the scale of a level II plain road, nearly 7 km long, a 22 m wide roadbed, and a 21.5 m road surface.
The project is constructed by the Joint Venture of Thuan An Construction and Trading Development Joint Stock Company, Trung Chinh Construction and Trading Company Limited, and 168 Vietnam Construction Investment and Import-Export Joint Stock Company.
The bridge was built across the Thuong River to connect Bac Ninh and Hai Phong provinces.
The project has a total investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND from the provincial budget and local government bonds.
