According to readers' feedback, at around 5:00 p.m. on March 4, a car while traveling on Giai Phong Street (opposite section 1750 Giai Phong, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi) towards Giap Bat - Ngoc Hoi suddenly caught fire.
A witness at the scene said that the car driver, when he discovered the incident, urgently parked next to the roadside, opened the door to get in the car with passersby using mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but failed.
The fire then engulfed the entire vehicle, with smoke rising tens of meters high, causing panic among traffic participants passing through here.


Upon receiving the information, the working group of the Road Traffic Police Team No. 14 on Giai Phong route quickly arrived at the scene, coordinated with the authorities and people to organize fire fighting, rescue, and traffic flow.
At around 6pm, the fire was extinguished. There were no casualties in the incident.
The cause of the fire is being clarified.


The fire broke out at rush hour, causing serious congestion on Giai Phong Street towards Ngoc Hoi.
Many people said it took them an hour to escape through the incident area.
