Implementing the plan of the Traffic Police Department (CSGT), from August 26, traffic police forces nationwide have launched patrols and inspections of transport business vehicles on key routes and areas, focusing on handling acts that directly pose a risk of traffic accidents.
According to statistics from the Traffic Police Department as of the evening of August 27, through inspection of 15,888 vehicles, functional forces have detected and made records of 2,410 violations. Among them, there are 956 passenger transport vehicles and 1,454 cargo transport vehicles.
Along with that, 91 vehicle owners were fined; 7 vehicles were temporarily seized; 207 driver's license points were deducted; 1 inspection certificate was revoked and 16 badges were revoked.
Hundreds of cases of stopping, parking and speeding violations
During the general inspection, the traffic police force focused on checking drivers, vehicle owners and safety assurance conditions of transport business vehicles.
The acts that are focused on include speeding, lane, lane, driving time, load, lane change, safe distance and vehicle safety regulations.
Notably, violations of improper parking and stopping were detected the most, with 679 cases. Next is speeding with 369 cases.
Functional forces also discovered 84 cases of operating business transport vehicles exceeding the prescribed time limit; 71 cases of carrying overloaded goods; 61 cases of changing lanes in violation of regulations; 59 cases of changing direction in violation of regulations and 48 cases of violating lanes and lanes...
Traffic police also discovered violations related to badges, invoices, and goods documents; improper avoidance and overtaking; using phones and electronic devices when driving; going into the emergency stop lane on the expressway; violating alcohol concentration, journey monitoring devices, driver image recording devices and driver's licenses.
Some cases of going against traffic and not complying with traffic light signals were also detected and handled.

According to the plan, the traffic police force organizes public patrols and inspections combined with professional measures; exploits data from journey monitoring devices, receives information and images reflecting violations to promptly detect, prevent and handle them.

Regarding violations related to the management responsibility of transport business units, the traffic police force continues to verify and clarify the responsibilities of vehicle owners, organizations, and businesses. Cases under the functions and authority of other agencies will be coordinated and transferred information for inspection and handling according to regulations.
