The fish pond in the North of Ho Chi Minh City is about to become a green park of nearly 1.7 hectares
According to the reporter, the nearly 1.7 hectare land plot located next to Nguyen Thi Bup Street (Trung My Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), once known by locals as "Tan Chanh Hiep fish pond", is being cleared, ready for the park's groundbreaking ceremony on the morning of October 13.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board, Tan Chanh Hiep Park is invested by the city budget, with a total investment of more than 27.68 billion VND, with the goal of creating space for community activities, increasing green land funds and improving the landscape of the North of the city. On the morning of October 12, Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang and the delegation attending the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term had a tour and practical experience of Metro Line No. 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien).
The delegation started their journey at Ben Thanh underground station (one of three underground stations of Metro Line 1) and ended at Suoi Tien station (near the new Mien Dong Bus Station), with a total length of nearly 20 km.

In one day, Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police discovered and handled 570 cases of alcohol concentration violations
On October 12, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC08) reported the preliminary results of the first day of the peak campaign to handle violations to ensure traffic safety and order to serve the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

PC08 Department said that it has inspected and fined nearly 1,700 violations. Of which, there were 570 cases of alcohol concentration violations, 120 cases of 3-4 wheel vehicles that did not ensure technical safety, and nearly 500 cases were sent via images to vehicle owners and violators. The Department of Education and Training (DET) of Ho Chi Minh City has announced the results of the first teacher recruitment period for the 2025-2026 school year.
As a result, out of a total of 10,176 candidates applying for round 2, 3,909 candidates are eligible to be admitted to the positions of teachers at all levels from kindergarten, primary school, junior high school to high school, and Continuing Education according to the wishes of the previously registered candidate school.
