On October 11, Vung Tau Urban Investment and Development Company Limited (Rach Dua Ward, Ho Chi Minh City - the project investor) said that it is urgently implementing construction at the 3/2 Urban Area project (also known as Blanca City).
Started in May 2025, the project is located on 3/2 route in Rach Dua and Phuoc Thang wards (HCMC), next to the most beautiful beach in the Vung Tau area before. Currently, the project site with a scale of 96.6 hectares with a total investment of nearly VND37,000 billion is being rushed to quickly complete, becoming one of the largest model cities in Ho Chi Minh City as well as the Southern region.
It is planned according to 5 functional subdivisions, including high-rise apartments; low-rise villas; retail complexes; condotel hotel; and the focal point is the theme park. This will be the most invested water entertainment complex in the system, with a scale of 15 hectares, gathering 20 top-notch water games inspired by the Southern river landscape.
After completion, the park will own a pioneering 10-lane water slide in the world, a giant double wave tank of nearly 6,000 m2, a pioneering Action River challenge game in Vietnam; or a mini version of water-crossing games and a separate wave created tank for children... At night, this place becomes a vibrant entertainment complex with a chain of restaurants, cafes, entertainment services, cuisine and many music and light festivals.
The project investor representative said that the infrastructure is currently at 100% of the construction progress, and is in the peak construction phase. At the construction site, more than 3,000 workers are mobilized with machinery and equipment to ensure progress. Thereby, the site and infrastructure of the water park, the rough parts of the game have been completed more than 50%.
According to the plan, it is expected that in October 2025, the project will complete the low-rise model house and apartments on the frontage of Hang Dieu Street (shophouse and villa). By January 2026, 412 shophouses and villas in Zones 1, 3, 7 will be topped out. Notably, the investor plans to open a water park called Sun World Vung Tau in February 2026.
