Recruitment demand continues to be higher than job search demand in Ho Chi Minh City
On November 13, Ms. Nguyen Van Hanh Thuc - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center, said that in October 2025, the demand for job seekers through this center was 15,427 people.

Of which, unskilled workers have a need to find a job of 3,070 people, accounting for 19.9% of the total demand for job. Next is the footwear and garment sector with 2,964 people, accounting for 19.21% of total demand. Third is the food and beverage sector with 1,106 job seekers, accounting for 7.17%. At the very least, the health and wellness sectors, with 10 people looking for jobs, account for 0.06%.

Reasons why 700 million VND social housing apartments in Ho Chi Minh City are lacking buyers
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee said that in 2025, Ho Chi Minh City will have 14 social housing projects under construction, with a scale of 15,412 apartments.

Fishing boat owner sentenced to 6 years in prison for illegally bringing people out of the country
On November 13, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court, campus 1, held a first-instance trial of Le Van Au (born in 1982), Le Van Hoi (born in 1976) for the act of "Organizing illegal exit for others".
According to the indictment, Le Van Hoi and his wife are the owners of a pair of fishing boats practicing scraping in Vietnamese waters. In which, Hoi was directly the captain of the fishing boat BV-93269.TS (the second boat); and hired Au (the younger brother) as the captain of the fishing boat BV-93169.TS (the male boat).
Preparing for a fishing trip of about 50 days at sea, Hoi hired 14 people to work on 2 ships, agreed on a salary of 12 million VND/person/month, along with necessary items. The two fishing vessels of Hoi will both depart from Tan Phuoc port (Long Hai commune) on April 1, 2025. See more...
