On the morning of October 24, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee held a ceremony to announce and hand over decisions approving, mobilizing, and appointing many key personnel in wards, communes, departments, and branches of the city.
Mr. Vu Hong Thuan - Deputy Secretary of the Vung Tau Ward Party Committee, was approved to hold the position of Chairman of the Vung Tau Ward People's Committee, replacing Mr. Bui Van Hy - who has applied for early retirement since the beginning of September 2025.
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also approved the election and appointment results for a number of other leadership positions at the commune and ward levels.
Mr. Nguyen Do Hai Thuan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Chau Commune, was appointed as Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Chau Commune; Mr. Tran Thanh Huyen - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dat Do Commune, was appointed as Chairman of the People's Committee of Dat Do Commune.
In Phu Nhuan ward alone, Mr. Ho Ngoc Viet - Member of the Executive Committee of the Ward Party Committee, was approved to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Phu Nhuan Ward People's Committee.
Also at the ceremony, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee presented decisions on the transfer and appointment of personnel under departments and branches.
Mr. Bui Chi Tinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Health, was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Do Huu Chinh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Volunteer Force, was appointed to the position of Deputy Commander of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Volunteer Force.
Also this morning, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee handed over personnel decisions to key leaders of state-owned enterprises under the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Hien Tam - Chairman of the Board of Members of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Volunteer Public Service Company Limited was appointed as Director of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Volunteer Public Service Company Limited.
Mr. Ngo Thanh Tuan - full-time Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Members of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Volunteer Public Service Company Limited.
Mr. Le Thanh Khoa - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Volunteer Public Service Company Limited holds the position of Director of Ho Chi Minh City Green Park Company.
Mr. Le Van Dung - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board, was transferred to work at Ho Chi Minh City Green Parks Company to carry out the process of appointing the Deputy Director.
