On December 19, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Nguyen Lan Huong went to E Hospital to visit the injured victims of the arson that occurred on the evening of December 18 at house number 258 Pham Van Dong Street, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City.
Visiting and encouraging the injured victims being treated at E Hospital, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City Nguyen Lan Huong expressed her sympathy for the loss and pain of the families caused by the serious arson; at the same time, she hoped that the victims would be assured of treatment, stay calm, comply with the doctor's treatment regimen, and soon overcome the pain to recover quickly.
Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong also requested E Hospital to create favorable conditions, mobilize the best equipment, and experienced doctors to actively treat the victims. At the same time, she requested local leaders to focus on overcoming the consequences of the incident; actively support families in arranging thoughtful and quick funerals for their loved ones.
On this occasion, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong presented 3 million VND in support to each injured person. For the 11 victims who died, each victim's family was supported with 5 million VND.
The amount was deducted from the Hanoi City Relief Fund by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City.
