On November 20, the Da Nang Red Cross Society coordinated with Sunhouse Group Joint Stock Company and distributors in the area to organize a support gift giving ceremony for households heavily affected by the flood in October.

The enterprise has supported 32 RO Sunhouse 8858K water purifiers, with a total value of 48 million VND. In Dai Loc and Duy Xuyen communes alone, each locality was allocated 16 machines to hand over to households affected by natural disasters.
In addition to the main gift of water purifiers, distributors in the Sunhouse system also continue to support each household with a gas stove and a flashlight, bringing the total value of each gift to 2.2 million VND. A total of 32 gifts, worth 70.4 million VND, were given to people to help them quickly stabilize their lives after storms and floods.
The addition of gas stoves and flashlights helps gifts become more practical and complete, meeting the basic needs of life during the period of people living through natural disasters.
The City Red Cross Society recommends that the Fatherland Front of Dai Loc and Duy Xuyen communes continue to coordinate in reviewing and making accurate lists to ensure gifts reach the right subjects.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Lam - Vice President of the Da Nang Red Cross Society said that in response to and overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, from the very beginning, the Association mobilized flocks of rescue boats and 0 VND canoes to support the evacuation of people, while transporting necessities to isolated areas.
"When the water receded, based on the assignment of the City Relief Mobilization Committee, we received and distributed more than 150 tons of goods to affected areas throughout Da Nang city. This is an important resource, helping people stabilize initially after the flood.
In the coming time, we will focus on recovery support activities, including: helping to repair and build houses; supporting families with relatives who have unfortunately passed away in natural disasters; and especially supporting livelihoods, giving scholarships to children in difficulty, so that people and affected subjects can soon have conditions to restore their lives," Mr. Lam emphasized.
