The project to repair damaged roadbed, road surface, drainage system and traffic safety system from IC12 intersection to Van Hoi (Tran Yen district) is invested by the Road Maintenance Management Board of Yen Bai province with a total investment of 19.7 billion VND.
The project started construction in October 2024, with Nam Phong Construction and Trading Investment Joint Stock Company as the contractor.
According to Lao Dong's report on November 2, at the construction site of the project to repair the road from IC12 intersection to Van Hoi (Tran Yen district), dozens of workers and machines are working hard to complete the road on schedule.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan (38 years old, Van Hoi, Tran Yen district) said that for many years now, the road from IC12 intersection to Van Hoi has been full of potholes and the road surface has sagged.
"When it's sunny, the dust flies everywhere, and when it rains, traveling is like a puzzle for people. To go to Yen Bai city, the route from Van Hoi to IC12 intersection is the fastest and most convenient. We hope the construction unit will soon complete it so that people's travel will be less difficult," said Ms. Xuan.
Speaking with Lao Dong, a representative of the Yen Bai Province Road Maintenance Management Board said that the construction unit is urgently implementing the project to complete it in early 2025.
"Once completed, the route is expected to ensure traffic safety, improve operational efficiency and contribute to promoting local socio-economic development," the representative informed.
