The Southern Ring Road project of the old Thai Binh City (now Hung Yen Province) with a total investment of more than 1,100 billion VND is urgently completing the final items to soon reach the finish line.
The project scale is more than 8km long, starting point is km59+950 National Highway 10 (in Tan Thuan commune), ending point is Chu Van intersection (in Tran Lam ward). This is a level II road; cross-section is 67m, main roadbed width is 30m; design speed is 80km/h.
Despite the harsh hot weather, the construction atmosphere at the construction site is still bustling. Because of the progress and responsibility for the project, the engineers and workers overcame the sun, worked enthusiastically, racing against time to complete the work, put the project into use soon, meeting the requirements of local economic and social development and the needs of the people.
In September, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters recorded that at the construction site of the old Southern Ring Road project of Thai Binh City, dozens of equipment and machinery were gathered with about 200 workers urgently working to urgently complete traffic safety items, install signs, signals, paint road markings, plant trees and install lighting.

According to the Hung Yen Province No. 2 Investment and Construction Project Management Board, up to now, the project has basically completed the main items such as Kien Giang Bridge, S1 overpass; the roadbed is made of crushed stone and asphalt concrete has been basically completed. The route is expected to be completed this September and put into operation in the near future.
The old Southern Ring Road project of Thai Binh City plays an important role in connecting traffic, reducing the load on National Highway 10 from Tan De Bridge to the southern area of the province and Thai Binh Economic Zone.
