The Ho Chi Minh road construction project section Cho Chu - Trung Son intersection has a total length of nearly 29km.
In which, the section through Thai Nguyen province is 11.51km long; through Tuyen Quang province is about 17.1km. The project starts in Cho Chu town (Km 245+878), the end point at Trung Son intersection (Km 276+135.5).
The road started construction in June 2024 with a total investment of more than 1,600 billion VND.

Recording PV at the project section passing through Tuyen Quang province, after more than 1 year of construction, the shape of the trillion-VND road has gradually emerged.
At the construction site, dozens of workers and machinery and equipment were mobilized to implement the project.
A large amount of soil and rocks are excavated to serve the construction of the roadbed. In addition to the road item, resettlement works for the project are also being implemented simultaneously.
According to reports from the investor, the project through Tuyen Quang province has a recovered land area of about 60.69 ha, affecting 397 households. Total compensation, support and resettlement costs are 161.22 billion VND.
As of December 25th, compensation and site clearance work reached 99.5%, and 61.78/62.1 hectares of clean land have been handed over. The two resettlement areas of Trung Son and Hung Loi are expected to be handed over to people in January 2026.
The total disbursed capital reached over 160/197.4 billion VND, equivalent to 85.4% of the allocated capital. Many technical infrastructure items have been relocated to serve construction.


Regarding the project, Standing Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan requested units to organize construction according to the motto of 3 shifts, 4 crews. Take advantage of favorable weather conditions to complete the leveling volume of resettlement areas according to the plan.
Hung Loi and Trung Son communes closely coordinate with the Land Development Center to complete inventory and compensation payments to people, and soon complete the infrastructure of the resettlement area. At the same time, relocate technical infrastructure at obstacle locations, completing before December 31st.
And at the project to renovate and upgrade the revolutionary road from Tan Trao commune to Trung Yen commune with a total investment of 300 billion VND. The project belongs to group B, level IV roads. The road is 9.2km long, implementation time in 2025 - 2026.
When completed, the road is expected to synchronize traffic infrastructure, strengthen connectivity between historical sites and tourist attractions in the Tan Trao Special National Relic Area.

After starting construction on December 19, the investor is coordinating with the local authorities to conduct inventory and deploy site clearance.
Regarding this project, Standing Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan requested the investor and Tan Trao commune to accelerate the progress of site clearance, striving to complete it in December. Proactively advance capital to pay households after inventory is completed.
Construction units mobilize maximum machinery and manpower, and deploy construction as soon as they receive the site. In the immediate future, priority is given to the construction of bridges and culverts across roads.
