On May 8, a source from Lao Dong Newspaper said that the Buon Ma Thuot Ward Party Committee has requested the Ward People's Committee to report and propose handling directions for the case of some non-specialized officials not being allowed to participate in the civil servant recruitment inspection and examination taking place in May 2026.
According to sources, the Ward Culture and Social Affairs Department, with its advisory role, has not implemented it strictly and promptly, affecting the rights of non-specialized officials.
Through review, 10/24 non-specialized personnel currently supporting work at Buon Ma Thuot Ward People's Committee wished and were eligible to be employed as civil servants.
Previously, the Department of Home Affairs of Dak Lak province received a written explanation from the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot ward regarding the delay in submitting dossiers for registration to receive non-specialized personnel to become civil servants.
According to the explanation, the professional agency of the ward admitted shortcomings due to slow completion and sending dossiers according to regulations.
The Department of Home Affairs of Dak Lak province said that the Inspection and Testing Council for receiving civil servants in the province in 2026 has met and agreed on the number and standards for non-specialized officials participating in the test.
However, because the dossiers of Buon Ma Thuot Ward People's Committee were sent overdue, the registration cases of the locality were not included in the list to participate in this inspection and examination.
Accordingly, 10 non-specialized officials in Buon Ma Thuot ward have lost the opportunity to participate in the entrance exam because the locality submitted dossiers late, directly affecting personal rights.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Vu Le Cac - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs said that the department organized the inspection and examination according to regulations on June 6 and 7. This time, there are about 300 non-specialized officials in the province participating in civil servant recruitment.
According to the province's policy, communes and wards are responsible for sending a list of cases eligible for recruitment according to needs and job positions for the council to consider.
Regarding the cases of Buon Ma Thuot ward, due to late submission of applications, they have to wait for the next recruitment round, but the organization time has not been specifically determined.
Non-specialized cadres are those who are assigned tasks in the locality but are not official civil servants.
The above recruitment round aims to create conditions for people who have worked and contributed for many years to become civil servants suitable for their job positions in each commune and ward in the province.
