" Let's be strong"
In the past few days of July, according to the reporter's records from 7:30 to 8:30 every day, on routes such as Ho Tung Mau, Xuan Thuy (Hanoi City)... it is not difficult to see motorbikes and cars crowded together, taking the road to get fast.
At this time, the increased traffic volume often causes local traffic congestion on the above sections of the road. Many cars did not hesitate to encroach on the inner right lane. Meanwhile, motorbike drivers crept through small spaces, even climbing onto the sidewalk to escape the crowd, creating a chaotic traffic scene and a potential risk of collision.

Mr. Vu Van Thai - a taxi driver - said that the Ho Tung Mau and Xuan Thuy streets do not have separate lanes, so "everyone can go". Motorbikes jostle in front of the car, even crossing the head. "Every time I pass this road, I bet with risks," said Mr. Thai.
Mr. Thai added: "Every morning there is often local congestion. Motorbikes climbed onto the sidewalk, cars tried to encroach on the lane. The road has a lane division line but no one complies. Just need a space for everyone to jostle and compete every meter of the road.
According to Mr. Thai, the worrying thing is that road fighting not only causes more chaos in traffic, but also poses many potential risks of accidents. A little delay is better than taking risks, but no one is willing to give up. Everyone was in a hurry, and the result was... local traffic congestion, Mr. Thai emphasized.
Mr. Vu Van Thai said that urban traffic will forever be a "bottleneck" if vehicles continue to move in a "dependent" manner and the streets lack proper organization. Not clearly dividing lanes is the root cause of many collisions, congestion and accident risks. But to change this situation, we cannot rely solely on the authorities or management agencies. A comprehensive strategy is needed, from infrastructure, technology, law to community education. And above all, it is necessary to have the consensus of the people - those who are walking on roads with the potential risk of accidents every day. Because only when each traffic participant voluntarily follows the right part of the road, the right lane, will traffic be an "endless battle".
The risk of accidents is always "locking"
Mr. Tran Duc Tan - a taxi driver - shared: "Because Ho Tung Mau and Xuan Thuy streets do not have separate lanes, each type of vehicle travels in a different way. Drivers must constantly handle the situation, just a little loss of concentration can cause a collision, causing damage to the vehicle or even injury.
According to Mr. Tan, not dividing the lane clearly makes everyone drive the vehicle according to their wishes, leading to a chaotic traffic situation. "The consequences are not only congestion but also a high risk of collisions, especially during rush hour or during bad weather," said Mr. Tan.

A leader of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police) said that during rush hours, local traffic congestion often occurs at the intersections between Ho Tung Mau Street and Pham Hung Street and Xuan Thuy Street. Faced with this situation, the unit must increase the Traffic Police force to regulate traffic, and at the same time handle cases of vehicle drivers violating regulations on road traffic safety and order.
In the coming time, Hanoi will install a camera system and pilot the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze vehicle traffic volume, thereby adjusting traffic light signals appropriately in real time. In addition, the camera system will also be used to detect and handle violating drivers," said the leader of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6.
