At around 1:30 p.m. on November 28, at km 55+200 of National Highway 10, through Hung Nhan Commune, Vinh Bao District, a collision occurred between a motorbike driven by Ms. N.T.T (born in 1970, residing in Vinh Bao Town) and a sports bicycle parked on the right side of the road. As a result, Ms. T was injured. The initial cause was that Ms. T did not pay attention while driving.
Previously, at 6:40 p.m. on November 27, at km 92+450 of National Highway 5 in So Dau Ward, Hong Bang District, a traffic accident occurred. A motorbike driven by Mr. P.H.T (born in 2000, residing in Vinh Phong Commune, Vinh Bao District) in the direction of Hanoi - Hai Phong collided with a tractor-trailer. As a result, Mr. T was injured and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
On the same day, a serious accident occurred at 11:30 p.m. in front of the SH Song Hong port gate (Dong Hai 2 ward, Hai An district). At this time, Mr. N.H.C (born in 1980, residing in Nam Dinh) was parking his tractor waiting for the port entry order and going to the back of the tractor to check the seal when he was hit by a tractor driven by Mr. L.V.M (born in 1990, residing in Ninh Binh), causing injuries. Mr. C was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment and died later.
Currently, the causes of the accidents are being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
Also according to the Traffic Safety Committee of Hai Phong City, in the first 11 months of 2024, there were 487 traffic accidents in the city, killing 212 people and injuring 362 people, a decrease in both the number of cases and the number of deaths compared to the same period.
